Classic Constructed · as of 2026-10-29 · 9 events · 28-day half-life. These tiers describe recent performance in imported coverage.
How the tier score works
Heroes listed as Living Legend in the latest cached official leaderboard are excluded from Classic Constructed tiers and insufficient data. Historical results against them still count for eligible heroes.
One Bayesian posterior models win, draw, and loss probabilities. Its score rate is the probability of a win plus half the probability of a draw. The neutral prior has ten results of mass (4.75 wins, 0.5 draws, 4.75 losses). Each event's results receive weight 2^(−age in days / 28): today 100%, after 28 days 50%, after 56 days 25%. No separate historical-performance component is added.
Only same-format active coverage counts. Mirrors, byes, pending results, unknown heroes, and confirmed Top 8 elimination results are excluded. Live results are included here; an individual event's historical prior uses only finalized events dated strictly earlier. Import dates are never used as event dates.
Classification requires at least two events, 12 weighted results, and three weighted pilot appearances. S requires a posterior score of at least 55%, 20 weighted results, and at least 95% posterior probability that score rate exceeds 50%. A begins at 52%, B at 47%, and C at 40%. Weighted result mass describes decay, and is not an independent sample count. Repeated pilots, changing card pools, and event differences are not modeled; the posterior is not a calibrated prediction of future wins.
Global tiers use posterior performance only. Event tiers retain event-specific conversion, retention, representation, and matchup signals. Their composite scores and global posterior scores have different meanings.
